A hashing we will go ... A hashing we will go
In another rain storm a hashing we will go.

Just to be original Shoez and Cougar started their run at a Loblaws. And just so they weren't too original they started at the Redway Loblaws. Unfortunately the hares forgot to sacrifice a virgin and if the clouds were any indication...the Gods were unhappy. Frankly we were rather scared to do anything. It appeared we could to be struck dead by lightning at any indiscretion....no point in making the Gods more angry!

A small pack.....Hares Shoez, Cougar - Hounds: Moist, Shampoo, Shadow, Roseeh, Back Door, Pussy Foot, Sweet Cheeks, Double Header, Drinks Like a Girl, Zephyr and Venta (also known as Hash Space member #9998). As the group circled up hashers kept disappearing to get more wet weather gear on. The longer they took the harder it rained.

Our illustrious GM Humpday was MIA, so Rose eh stepped in as RA and quickly announced the weather was making her grumpy. Some of the group (ok maybe all) commented that how could one tell, as she is grouchy most of the time.

After chalk talk and the introduction of Venta the pack was off. Cleats....now that would have been a good idea. Any hasher wearing shoes with less than good treads will be offered a spot on the Canadian Down Hill Ski Team. Sweet Cheeks, being on the Ski Patrol, should have been much better in the mud.

Up and down a few slippery slopes to a couple of checks and a YBF.

For a moment it almost stopped raining. However, the Gods were just teasing...or maybe they were resting up for the next down pour which came down minutes later and much harder. This, to the shock of all, brought on more whining and grumbling from a couple hashers (ok mostly Rose eh). Along with the rain was lightning and thunder - was this announcing the arrival of Double Header and Drinks Like A Girl? They caught up to the pack at about the 1/2 hour mark. Apparently to brave the weather they needed a few tequila shots.

Due to the lovely weather Shoez and Cougar had the beer check outside and because there was lightning....under the trees. And since it was still raining really hard the down downs were also outside. You know you're a hasher when you'll stand outside, in the pissing rain, just so you can do down downs. Yes Hasher are just so darn smart!

The circle was adjourned to the Fox and Firkin where Pussy Foot told us how every basement foundation in the city of Toronto was going to fail....Drinks and Double tried to convince everyone to do the City Chase next weekend and lastly Zephyr and Venta tried to start a country wide revolt against high beer prices.

All worthy causes!
